Every HVAC SEO company says it is the best. Few show their price, their contract, or what happens if it does not work. We checked 11 of them on their own websites on 29 October 2026 and put what they publish side by side. InnoBotZ is one of the 11, so read our own entry with that in mind.
SHORT ANSWER
There is no single best HVAC SEO company; it depends on what you need. For named HVAC case studies with a published price, Hook Agency ($3,750 a month for local SEO plus AI search tracking). For the lowest entry point and month to month terms, HVAC Webmasters. For scale and an all-in-one platform, Scorpion, on a typical 12 month contract. For AI search included in a flat $2,500 retainer, month to month, HVAC Foundry or Service Marketing Co. For the only published performance guarantee on this list, InnoBotZ, with a day 90 right to leave, but no named HVAC case study yet.

How we compared them
We used only what each agency publishes on its own website, checked on 29 October 2026, with a link to the exact page. No reviews from third-party sites, no rumours, no "sources say". Six things, in this order:
- Published price. Can an owner see a real number before a sales call?
- Contract term. Month to month, 6 months or 12 months.
- AI search. Do they sell visibility in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI, and is it included or an add-on?
- Guarantee. Any published promise with a consequence if it does not work.
- Named HVAC proof. A named HVAC client with numbers.
- Ownership. Do you keep the website and accounts if you leave?
Where an agency does not publish something, we say "not published". That is not the same as "does not offer". Prices change, so check the linked page before you decide.
Our conflict of interest: InnoBotZ sells HVAC SEO. We are on this list, we wrote it, and we would like you to hire us. We did not rank ourselves first. We list what we publish and what we lack, the same as everyone else.

The 11 agencies, one by one
Hook Agency: best for named HVAC proof with a published price
Hook publishes a full rate card. Local SEO plus AEO costs $3,750 a month, covering "local rankings, GBP visibility, and 25+ ChatGPT prompts, tracked and reported on monthly". Google Ads and LSA management start at $2,000 a month, and Hook says most clients invest $5,000 to $8,000 a month across services. You own your website 100%. Hook started in roofing and serves home services, not only HVAC. Its named HVAC case study, Genz-Ryan in Burnsville, MN, reports 743 qualified organic leads.
Watch for: no published contract term or guarantee; one of the higher prices on this list, which Hook itself says openly.
Scorpion: best for an all-in-one platform at scale
Scorpion sells SEO, ads, websites and its own software to HVAC and many other trades. Its HVAC page says it builds "the SEO and AI search authority that gets your business found, and recommended". Prices are not published. Its FAQ says it "typically requires a 12-month contract", and that you own your website after the contract is complete, but not the underlying system. Named proof: Hembree Heating & Air, which Scorpion says grew by over 300%.
Watch for: the 12 month term and the ownership terms. Read the FAQ before you sign.
HVAC Webmasters: best low-cost way in, HVAC only
HVAC Webmasters is HVAC only and says it has helped more than a thousand HVAC companies over 16 years. Its homepage shows "$99 to Start! Call for Details", but no plan prices. It offers month to month plans only, and sells AEO for Gemini, ChatGPT and Perplexity without a published price. Named proof: Cajun Comfort, +55% yearly traffic.
Watch for: the $99 is a starting point, not a plan price; ask what the real monthly number is.
Blue Corona (now RYNO Strategic Solutions): best for long home services tenure
Blue Corona merged with RYNO on 1 October 2024 under the RYNO Strategic Solutions brand, owned by EverService Holdings, a Sunstone Partners portfolio company. Its HVAC page says "we don't offer cookie-cutter HVAC marketing packages", so no prices are published. Its homepage promises "100% Ownership" of design, code, content and logins. We did not find an AI search offer on the pages we checked.
Watch for: no published price, term or AI search product; ask about all three.
WebFX: best for tiered, published AI search pricing
WebFX is a large multi-industry agency. Its HVAC page lists SEO from $2,900 a month and local SEO from $575 a month. Its AI search optimization starts at $3,000 a month on a 6 month commitment, tracked with its own OmniSEO tool across "10+ AI platforms". Named HVAC proof: Boss Mechanical, +65% total leads.
Watch for: AI search is priced separately from SEO, so a full Google plus AI plan stacks two fees.
Relentless Digital: best for a founder from the trade
Relentless serves HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other home services. Its FAQ says the founder "spent nine years in the HVAC industry", that it does not trap contractors in multi-year contracts, and that you own 100% of your domain, site, Business Profile and ad accounts. Prices are not published, and we did not find an AI search offer on the pages we checked.
Watch for: no published price; the exact contract length is not stated.
Thrive: best for full-service breadth
Thrive serves all industries, HVAC included. Its SEO pricing page offers month to month contracts and lists market ranges rather than its own package price. It sells AI SEO services (AEO and GEO) without a published price. Named HVAC proof: Max Mechanical, +763% qualified leads.
Watch for: not an HVAC specialist; no published price of its own.
HVAC Foundry: best for AI search included, month to month
HVAC Foundry is HVAC only. Its pricing page lists one month to month SEO retainer at $2,500 a month with GEO (AI search visibility work) included rather than sold as an add-on, and websites at $2,500. It targets 1 to 10 truck shops. It publishes a small AI visibility study. On guarantees its position is explicit: it measures and reports, and does not promise a citation count. It has no named client proof yet; its pricing page says it does not have written permission to name its client.
Watch for: no named proof and no guarantee; built for smaller shops.
Service Marketing Co: best flat price for HVAC and plumbing
Service Marketing Co serves HVAC and plumbing only, one client per state. Its pricing page lists $2,500 a month, "No contracts. No hidden costs.", covering SEO, AI search visibility, Google Business Profile, email and social. Paid ads are referred out. Established 2021. We found no named case study on the pages we checked.
Watch for: no named proof; ads not included.
First Page Sage: best for a big SEO and GEO firm on month to month terms
First Page Sage is a multi-industry SEO firm with an HVAC SEO and GEO page. It works "Month to month, no contracts" and manages listings, reviews and location pages for the map pack. Prices are not published on the HVAC page, and its testimonial is unnamed.
Watch for: no published price and no named HVAC proof.
InnoBotZ: best for a written way out if nothing moves
InnoBotZ (us) sells one retainer for Google results, Google Maps and the AI assistants to US HVAC companies with 15 to 60 people. Prices are published: $2,500 a month on 12 months with the $7,500 setup waived, $1,750 for the first 5 HVAC companies, or month to month with the setup fee. AI visibility is included and measured weekly on 20 buyer questions across 4 assistants. It is the only company on this list with a published performance guarantee: three figures signed on day 0, and if none is higher on day 90, you can leave with no setup fee and nothing more to pay. One HVAC company per service area.
Watch for: InnoBotZ is new. It has one real client outside HVAC and no named HVAC case study yet. The default plan is 12 months, with the guarantee as the way out.
How much does HVAC SEO cost in 2026?
From what these agencies publish: local SEO from $575 a month (WebFX), flat all-in retainers with AI search at $2,500 a month (HVAC Foundry, Service Marketing Co, InnoBotZ), and local SEO plus AI tracking at $3,750 a month (Hook Agency). WebFX lists a typical market range of $2,500 to $7,500 a month for SEO. Half the agencies on this list do not publish a price at all. More on budgets in how much an HVAC company should spend on marketing.
Red flags when hiring an HVAC SEO company
- A promised top position on Google or a promised spot in ChatGPT. Google says "No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google." A real guarantee is about what happens if numbers do not move, not a position.
- You do not own the site or the Business Profile. Ask in writing what you keep if you leave.
- Reports full of keyword positions and no calls. Ask how they count calls and booked jobs.
- A long contract with no exit. A long term is fine if there is a written way out when nothing improves.
- "AI search" sold as an add-on with no measurement. Ask which questions they track, how often, and on which assistants.
- They work for your competitor across town. Ask if they limit clients per area.
Questions to ask on the sales call
- What is the monthly price, and what is the contract term?
- What exactly happens if my numbers have not improved by month 3?
- Do I own the website, content, Business Profile and ad accounts if I leave?
- Which AI questions do you track for me, on which assistants, how often?
- Can I talk to a named HVAC client of a similar size?
- Do you work with other HVAC companies in my service area?
Questions owners ask
What is the best HVAC SEO company in 2026?
It depends on what you need. Hook Agency for named HVAC proof with a published price, HVAC Webmasters for a low entry point, Scorpion for an all-in-one platform on a 12 month contract, HVAC Foundry or Service Marketing Co for AI search in a flat $2,500 month to month retainer, and InnoBotZ for the only published performance guarantee.
How much does HVAC SEO cost per month?
From published prices: local SEO from $575 a month at WebFX, $2,500 a month all-in with AI search at HVAC Foundry, Service Marketing Co and InnoBotZ, and $3,750 a month for local SEO plus AI tracking at Hook Agency. Many agencies do not publish a price.
Which HVAC SEO companies include ChatGPT and AI search?
HVAC Foundry, Service Marketing Co and InnoBotZ include AI search in the main price. Hook Agency bundles AI prompt tracking into its $3,750 local SEO plan. WebFX sells GEO separately from $3,000 a month. Scorpion, HVAC Webmasters, Thrive and First Page Sage sell it without a separate published price.
Does any HVAC SEO company offer a guarantee?
Of the 11 we checked, only InnoBotZ publishes a performance guarantee: if none of three signed figures is higher on day 90, the client can leave with no setup fee. None of the others publishes one; HVAC Foundry states it does not promise a citation count.
Which HVAC SEO companies are month to month?
HVAC Webmasters, Thrive, First Page Sage, HVAC Foundry and Service Marketing Co publish month to month or no contract terms. Scorpion typically requires 12 months. InnoBotZ offers both, with the setup fee waived on 12 months.
Why is InnoBotZ not ranked first on its own list?
